CELTEK STATIONARY CELLS

CELTEK stationary cells are being made in India at their modern plant at Peenya in Bangalore for over two decades.

Stationary cells find wide application as a power source in Telecommunication systems, UPS systems, Emergency power applications in power houses for switch-gear control, Emergency lighting equipment, Railway signaling, Fire alarms and in all applications where a pure d.c. source is required.

CELTEK Stationary cells with improved tubular design and technology are available in a wide range, from 20 ampere-hour to 5000-ampere hour capacity. The new design satisfies the requirements of the most discerning user. The improved technology ensures enhanced life, uninterrupted performance and greater reliability

FEATURES

Plates:
Made to international standards with advanced specialised battery technology, 'Celtek' hi-performance tubular positive plates in premium 'GLASPOL' tubular bags ensure better, high-rate discharge, more capacity for a given volume, greater shock resistance, longer life with excellent reserve capacity.

The pasted negative plates manufactured under exacting control to withstand rough handling and abuse, are designed to obtain optimum performance.

Separators:
The insulation between the positive and negative plates is provided by the use of superb high quality 'MICROTEX' PVC separators totally free of harmful impurities, having high porosity, high electrical insulation and low internal resistance for improved battery performance.

Containers:

The plates are housed in a high impact thick walled single cell hard rubber container, resistant to acid and temperature, over prismatic hard rubber sediment spacer to prevent short-circuiting by sedimentation.

Other Features:
The grids of the plates are made of a special alloy composition having low antimony content which contributes to low gassing and less maintenance. The plates are designed to meet short duration high-rate discharge and occasional deep discharge. The cells are connected using lead coated aluminum copper connectors, nuts and bolts. The anti-corrosive connectors provide complete electrical conductivity between the cells when formed into a battery.

Manufactured to meet stringent requirements of Bureau of Indian Standard and German DIN specifications, CELTEK stationary cells have splash-proof vent and give a constant and consistent discharge performance.
