The establishment of Mysore Thermo Electric Industries way back in the year 1969 in Bangalore by its founder Mr.Ambraith Govindan, Thereafter during the last 34 years a string of units like Microtex Separators Limited,Glaspol Tubular Bags ,Celtek Batteries Private Limited and Accumulator Fabrics [P] Limited, sprang up as independent units.
CELTEK BATTERIES [P] LIMITED originated in 1989, grown into a well established company with all infrastructures to manufacture of Celtek Lead Acid Batteries,Celtek Battery Plates, Oxides and parts thereof, with fully equipped Electrical and Chemical Laboratories and Machine Shops, staffed by highly qualified, experienced engineers and technicians. The company is manufacturing Automotive, Stationary and Traction Batteries and their home customers include Dept of Telecommunications, Indian Railways and other Government organizations.
